White Hat SEO in the UK
More about White Hat
In recent years, two main terms have appeared in which to describe different techniques used in search engine optimisation, White hat and Black hat.
White hat SEO is the term used to describe techniques which adhere to search engine terms of usage whether they are written or unwritten. Such techniques used will produce an organic search engine results page ranking and give credibility to both the website and the search engine.
To get a PageRank ranking which is natural, content needs to be updated regularly. It should be in context with the overall websites information and will correspond to the keywords defined in the site code.
By providing relevant keywords of both short and long tail length, it shows that the content is not overusing a specific keyword in order to manipulate the search engine algorithms to rank higher for one keyword.
As well as using inbound backlinks to your website it is beneficial to show a search engine that you are using outbound links too. This improves your ranking and shows that you are not just directing traffic to yourself; you are integrating into the keyword queries and working with other websites with the same context.
